Read this thread with mixed feelings as I've already paid up on a course last year to take me through A+, CCNA and CCNP. I have the A+ already and have about two years experience in tech support with HP and Sky Broadband but the A+ doesn't seem to have helped me much so far unfortunately.

I will undertake the CCNA this summer and hopefully pass, I've seen that it isn't a golden ticket and reading this thread has reinforced that, but at least it stands for a few years and I'm hoping it'll be useful to have those certs at some point.
