Hi

Just to say hi and the usual customary greetings!

Bit of background, worked in IT for the last 5 years. Just back for a 5 month career break which involved me living and playing in northern Italy.

5 years ago as a way into IT I self-taught the old MCDST qualification on XP and passed which got me a job working a helpdesk. Worked up through the hierarchy and got my own team doing project implementation and SysAdmin work.

Not done any qualifications since then but learnt a lot. Now while I look for my next job I thought a good idea to get qualified again so did a CCNA course last week and have the exam booked for next week......!

After CCNA, plan to do Security+ since I've been (very) slowly working through the text book for the last 12 months and a lot of it was part of my old job. Would also like to get CCNA Security and CCNP ideally before the end of this year if other commitments allow.
