Hey guys,

I had my annual performance review to discuss objectives and training this afternoon and it went fantastic. I came out with agreements from my boss that i could attend the following courses over the next 12 months:

- Security+ (5 Days)
- Cisco Network Design (5 Days)
- IIS 6 (3 Days)
- ITIL Foundation (3 Days)
- Apache Web Admin (5 Days)

I am so pleased, especially about the ITIL course as its something i felt i wouldn't be allowed to do, but i've got it!

Add my final MCSE exam and the other exams i wanna take and i'm gonna be a busy boy, but damn its gonna be good!

Are you sure your boss wan't crossing his fingers behind his back when he ok'ed all that?

The MD at my old company promised me an MSCE course at my performance review (which I'd almost had to quit to get). I did get a promotion at the review, and a promise to fund an MSCE course etc... In fact, he said lets meet the same time next week to see where we are at sorting the course for you ...

Needless to say, the meeting was forgotten as was the promise, ah well. Seems to be a very common phenomena (sp?) from chatting to other people.
