Hi I feel quite silly asking this as I'm sure the answer is simple, anyway......

My question is: How much is the A+ certification? I know there are two exams but do you have to pay for these seperately? or is it one price for the cert.

The compTIA website says it's £114, but is that just for one exam? :blink

yup, thats for one exam, expensive but thats how it goes...

No need to feel stupid, the Comptia site is not the easiest to navigate when searching for info.

Don't forget about VAT. Will take it to around £130 per exam.

Best thing to do is phone up the testing center and ask about vouchers, unless some one is selling one or two on here. This should drop the price a bit for you.

Look around before you commit. Some sites offer vouchers for lower prices. I imagine they get them for a discount because they are a reseller and they pass part of the savings to you and of course keep some for themselves. For example, when I got my Network + voucher I got it from the TotalSem site (Mike Meyers) because with his discount I was able to buy his premium package which included 700 practice questions for about what CompTIA stated as their exam price! So, naturally I went for it! Just look around and compare. When you find something, post it here to see if anyone has had good or bad experiences with the site/voucher.

    Good luck!
