Syncing Microsoft Outlook 2010 Contacts to Samsung Phone

    Good Morning Guys,

    I have a user in work who would like to sync is contacts from outlook to his phone and just wondering how you go about this. Any suggestions? Never done this before...

    depends... what type of account are they using? IMAP/POP/Exchange..? regardless of what e-mail client you use, the big establishment is knowing what type of mailbox it is from the choices above.

    EDIT: Also another thing to consider, is whether your company uses some form of MDM on personal phones such as Intune.

    Generally, under accounts in settings of an android phone you add the mail account using the "Microsoft Exchange Activesync" connector, that'll give you the options to sync contacts, calendar, email and tasks.

    Only if they are using an Exchange account though..
