Starting 70-270

    Hi all. Im after a bit of advise. Im just starting the long road of being MCSE Certified. Im going to Start with the Basic 70-270 XP and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on books to study from?? Iv heard mixed reviews for the Official microsoft book and im not too sure... Any help would be great. Thanks.

    One of the best "books" would be a computer that has Windows XP Professional installed on it and mess around with it. Since there will be some simulation questions in the 70-270, you will need to know what things look like in Windows XP Professional. :)

    two PC's would be even better... setting up a RIS server will help you alot because questions about RIS do pop up. if you not sure what RIS is dont worry soon enough you will!:biggrin

    Thats Great you guys Thanks alot. Iv only just moved into a flat with the missis and havnt even got a PC yet :rolleyes: Il be getting one in the next couple of days and I think me mums got an old one I can pinch and practice with as a second. Get my first lot of books tomorrow. The ironic thing is on the way to work this morning a beatles song came on... the Long And Winding Road. could this be a sign???:eek:
