I was the same then a few O365 opportunities came up. Will have to look at the certs soon.

Planning the migration of the existing onsite environment can be a challenge – especially with low bandwidth. The addition of Lync (in most cases) when moving to O365 is a big selling point.

You do realise that socialising with your peers and managers is a great way of them getting to know you better.

    Guys,

Im mildly autistic and I have being diagnosed with this when I was little

, so I am socially awkward but have a very high IQ and can do hard things that others cant, but I cant do easy things and I am very shy ,

I am trying so hard to socialise but its not easy, I have over come this in the past with fake smiles etc and eye contacts, I just need to do the same here, please respect the fact that I am doing the impossible every day by coming to work and talking with people I come along way, when I was little I was in special ed cause I could no stand in class room for 1 year and I learned from what they taught me and I am good now, but at work everyone thinks I am a bit odd.

Aushus, whilst I can't understand the fear\trepidation you feel in social situations please understand that people would be more understanding if they knew you suffered mild autism rather than just fake it.

People take offense if they feel that you're just paying lip service to them with fake smiles \ eye contact, just explain to them that you're a shy \ awkward person who don't do well in social situations.

As far as abilities are concerned, you need to stop being the kind of guy who tells people you're the shiznit, there are others out there who know as much\more than you and you need to understand that telling people you're that good puts them off.

Yes you may well be a great O365 person but if you carry on with the attitude you will shortly be an out of work O365 person who won't be employable in NZ because of your reputation.

You may well be a great consultant but you lack certain lower level skills (I am not talking personality, I am talking business) that you also need to perfect, making yourself an alround better engineer and person if you take a step back and learn not just the lacking business skills but also the interpersonal skills (or to just stop faking them) you will find life a lot easier.

How many 0365 projects have you worked on mate? Must admit we are getting more and more requests for 0365 to migrate from onsite Exchange.

I have one on my table just now to write a proposal for. 400 mailboxes over two sites with an onsite Exchange 2007 server on each site. Any words of wisdom for the migration? I have an idea of how I am going to approach it but timescales are a concern as I need to allocate suitable resources for this.
