Start my class today. Any advice

    I have only worked with linux a little in the past. (It was my first file server). I havnt used it for 2 or 3 years.

    I start my class today for linux + its a 12 week course. Anyone have any advice for preparation on the exam?

    sounds like a plan. I have heard that a lot of the test is command strings.

    I like command line, but I do find it frustrating how exams love obscure switches. What's the point? You remember the ones you need, and when you're at a PC you can always just hit up the 'man' pages. In Linux especially, there's so little consistency between different command line tools and their switches.

    Passed lx0-101 today. 102 in next week probably.

    Well done :) I quite like Linux now days so may take a look at this as a route to improving my overall experience with Linux.

    Then I'm going to jump back into Microsoft. I'm going to do sever active directory.

    I must admit, Me too.
    I have only worked with Windows but recently I have started to use Linux and really enjoyed it.
    Think it will be really useful when "Big Data" really hits (If it hasnt already).

    Also two exams, 5 Certs...cant go wrong ha ha
