Weren’t really sure were to put this question but this seems as good a place as any. I was wondering if there are any certifications in SQL.

Yep. There are certifications for SQL developers and SQL admins. Depends on what you want to do.

As I'm more involved in the admin side, that's what I'm most familiar with. Microsoft has the MCDBA for SQL 2000, and the MCTS and MCITP for SQL 2005. Oracle has the OCA, OCP, and OCM certifications. There are probably several others that I am not as aware of.

 

SQL is quite tough - but well worth the effort.

 

Thanks I will have a look at some of the ones you mentioned, I'm looking to learn more sql server skills.
