    Hi everyone,

Got a question about SMS 2003 that may or may not be straightforward...
Basically the guy who administrates the SMS server isn't available and so a problem's landed on my lap.
Our Exchange Team has implemented EAS from Zantaz but we've found the version we've installed on many of our machines is not letting our users retrieve archived mail so we need to install an approved version, which is slightly older (I'll call it 6.1x). What we want to do is a silent removal of EAS 6.2 from any clients where it's installed, followed by an unattended installation of EAS 6.1x.

From what I can gather, I think I'll have to:

    1) Poll all the Workstations for EAS 6.2 (I can get an idea if it works if anything)
    2) Create a collection for EAS 6.1x
    3) Create some sort of SQL statement to identify machines with 6.2 installed, remove the product and then install 6.1x
    4) Poll the Workstations again to make sure the above has been successfull.

Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track here, and if so give me an idea of how to pull it off

    Thanks in advance
