god i've wasted so much time on facebook

 

I so much wish that my wife had not joined Facebook. We get enough c**p e-mails as it is. Now people are sending her "virtual drinks" WTF?

WHY? Obviously John needs to get a flaming life.

I was rather bothered the other day when we had a facebook e-mail with the subject "Someone wants to do you". It turns out, not surprisingly, that this is an application that you can activate if you want a rating for your, well, sexual attractiveness.

Not only was I very annoyed that she should be involved in rubbish like this, but when she doesn't seem particularly interested in this subject at home (too much info' I know) then the thought that she is asking for ratings on-line made me hit the roof.

It turned out to be a promotion for this feature and she hadn't activated it and is VERY unlikely to.

But this is the sort of thing that they get up to on FB. Count me very much out.

 

Couldn't agree more with Trigent on that, I do use facebook but its got so much *crap* on it nowadays its really getting annoying. It was better at the start, without all these stupid *applications* as they call them...
