    Hi all,
I test alot of IDE HDD's, sometimes by my test machine, and sometimes by my USB IDE lead. I was just thinking, with these SATA drives becoming more abundant i am going to need either a serial capable test machine or an adaptor of sorts. Have tried a bit of looking around, but cant seem to find one. Found a bridge in US that allows SATA drives to connect to IDE, but none here in UK.
    Any thoughts,
    Kat

Ok, found a PCI adaptor which should be alright, got an external SATA connector with lead.

you will still need an external power connecter though
Antec PSUs tend to have a molex connector built into the back of the PSU, which is handy for stuff like this

Um, i meant if your going to plug it in externally, your still going to need to get power from inside the case, unless you have a PSU that supplies an external molex, an option may be an SATA card and an SATA hot swap enclosure, as it adds that ease of use :)
