It really peeves me to see all this nonsense talked about Scheidegger. I did IT Skills for Commerce and found them very efficient and obliging. Get on with getting a life instead of trying to interfere in others.

Hi Defcon1, they're also others on this site that say positive things about Scheidegger...don't pay too much attention to the negative comments.

    Welcome th the forums anyhow!

Any comments on this forum about training providers has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Everyone here is grown-up enough to be able to form their own opinions based in the information supplied.
    Don't take it personally.
Unless they pay you to, of course.

    Hi Defcon1, welcome to CF.

Thanks for your input. Whilst there is alot of bad written about various training providers, there is also good around. Remember, a person who is unhappy about a service will tell more people than someone who has had a good experience.

I don't think that anyone is trying to "interfere" with others, and the staff here look at all the complaints made. No one is forced to read anything they don't want to. If we feel that they are unjustified, or members are unable to back up claims, action is taken.

Why not drop in to our new members section and tell us a bit about yourself. :D

Well said! I'm doing the same course as you and I find them very helpful indeed. My mum has signed up to do PC training.

I think someone mentioned earlier about these "1 post" wonders praising Scheidegger.
Seems a bit of a coincidence to me? :x

Don't worry about it jazzy. They really could be someone that likes their training and is defending it. Lets give them a little time and see if they are just looking for the best community out there to help them on their cert path.

Greetings defcon1 and greenpixel. Welcome to CertForums. Glad you found us. I think if you'll do a search of our forums for the name of your provider, you'll find both positive and negative opinions expressed.

Please keep in mind that unless a member is doing a deliberate hatchet job on a specific training provider, they are free to express any legitimate concerns they may have about services and quality. People's opinions won't always agree but as long as we don't personalize the conflict, it probably won't be a problem. Also remember, no organization or service provider is perfect so the occasional complaint is bound to occur.

Sadly, JazzyJay is correct. We have had some folks sign up as members and post only a single message, praising Scheidegger and then disappearing into the mist. That is something of a minor misuse of their membership and probably bad manners on their part. I look forward to the two of you becoming active participants on our boards and discussing a wide variety of technical and certification issues.

If you both wouldn't mind, please take a moment and pop up to the New Members Introduction forum and tell us a bit about yourselves and how you found our site. Thanks. :)
