The wife has been away for a weeks holiday, the younger son is with the grandfather, the older son is on a holiday camp and I have Saturday night till Sunday night all to myself.

It's 1.30 in the morning (Swiss time) and I'm here. I mowed the lawn this afternoon, I've cleaned the boys bedrooms, cleaned the bathroom and the toilets and done the washing. I did the bookwork, accounting and the banking (online) all so that my wife (who's been on holiday) won't have to do anything or complain about anything when she comes back.

So, what are you doing here right now?

I watched Switzerland beat Lettland 2 to 1. Pretty good game too. Quite fair and really strict and consistent with the umpiring too.

Just woke up. Now that I've got a much faster Internet connection, I've spent the last few evenings exploring my childhood on YouTube. I've been watching old TV shows from the early 1960s. Even though they are pretty hokey, the nostalgia value is out of this world. :biggrin

I turned off the England match after the first half, Zim. And based on their performance for the first 45 minutes, they really didn't deserve a 5 - 1 scoreline. But I suppose I need to read the football thread to get everyone's opinions on that

Well, when this thread started my aunt was kicking my ass at bowling on the Wii.

Today... as most of you know, I cohabit with my poor unfortunate boyfriend. As we had family for dinner yesterday, we both blitzed the housework (had *that* conversation with him, and things seem to be operating a lot better around the house now!)

Because there wasn't so much to set straight today I've just done washing and ironing (which doesn't take much effort) and studying.

Trying to figure out what to do next. 70-272 seems an obvious choice, and I think I'll take advice given on the blog and get it done quickly... also reading the ISEB Foundation Project Manager textbook. This afternoon has mainly consisted of that - and reading some Terry Pratchett in German (good for the grey matter).

Whilst I was doing that, Martin has been revising trigonometry and log and all sorts of awfulness.

Geek House x 2. Our children will be bullied.
