to be honest a Rolls Royce apprenticeship is as good as any other, the trainings no better or worse. Its just the name that makes it sound liek something fantastic.
If you are starting out, looking for something straight from school, then go for it as teh name will work when it comes to impressing future potential employers. Other wise, see what else there is. Just remeber, its a big company and so acts liek any other big company, dont think your getting anything special (theres no car in it for ya! :) )

I know as i did mine back in teh 90's with them. I wanted avionics but as there were only 5 electrical/electronics apprentices that year, they grouped us all togther and we all did a general electrical/electronics course and training. There was no specialisation, and in fact, most of what i did ended up being electrical wiring. Not what i wanted when i started out. Don't get me wrong though, i enjoyed it, i learned alot from it, but it could have been better. Its teh name thats helped me get work since.
