Fair enough, Freddy - when I brought it up initally, it was in a client-based context anyway, and I hadn't needed to test it on a server platform. Thanks for the info

have you recently installed Service Pack 2 kat?

found a few sites saying that, although sp2 doesn't really interfere with nav, it may stop it's auto updates which may interfere with nav.

not my words btw!!

so maybe try and manually update norton?

other than that or what i said before..... i have noooooo idea!!

Sounds like a tricky one. Whats the last thing you remember changing or installing before this happened.

Have you done anything recently like install SP2, install/uninstall norton AV or install a new windows theme or theme manager?

Let me know and we can go from there

yeh it is a tricky one..........
Ummm...... i do install new progs frequently, so, i guess it could be any of them.. The thing is idont remember the last time it was actually working correctly...... I think the only way round this enigma is to back up and start again.............
