As it's Remembrance day I thought I'd put something which I came across the other day. The original was posted on UserFriendly.org (as geeks most of you will know this place).

Personally I'd just like to thank them (even though they won't see it) for what they gave so that I could be here today.

I had my 2 mins silence waiting in a hospital with about 30 other patients
Otherwise It could have passed me what time the silence was due
