registry lnk broken

OK i dang gone dine summat stoopid. Messing around i deleted the LNK entry in the registry. Now all my shortcuts have .lnk as extensions and clicking one asks me what do i want to open this with.

Being slightly clever, i thought i could export the .lnk entry from another pc and import into this one but that hasnt worked. So anyone got any ideas?

Ok no worries now its fixed. I just exported the lnkfile entry instead of the .lnk and that worked!

Lesson learnt? Never mess with registry while at work!

 

and make copies even if you copy it all to notepad
