Registry errors

Just wondering how many of you have ran a registry cleaner after a clean instal and found errors. Ive had that happen to me and was wondering how that can happen after a clean install, any ideas?

Yeah I always run Crap Cleaner after a clean install and it seems to find shed loads of errors. I dont understand why either.

Because 3rd party software doesn't agree with Microsoft as to what is 'right'?

I agree with this, clearly the registry will be perfect just after a clean install, so logically the cleaning software is crap

 

Either that or the software 'picks up' lots of errors to convince you that it's worth getting the professional version. I wouldn't be surprised if the reg keys it picks up are completely useless (rigged or inserted maybe?) and can be 'fixed' without problems.

 

So do none of you use registry cleaners then?

 

I have used them many times Raff in the past but to be honest i have never noticed a performance boost but i have noticed that problems have been introduced. So, i spend my time doing things which i know will boost the performance and not potentially break things.

They have programs that do that for you



I love my registry, love manually cleaning spyware from there, love claning crap from there in fact i probably fiddle with registry more than i do with "other things"

Just curious, is registry a nickname of someone your very fond of. .
