    Basically got an email from reed saying a recruiter has sent me a message, dunno if they can do that or not?

    THis is what it says

    Dear Alex,

    I would like to invite you to an Assessment on Friday 1st April at 10am.

    The Assessment comprises of 2 parts testing IT knowledge & answering some initial questions. The Assessment Centre will last approximately 1.5 hours and will take place in the IT Labs.

    Subsequent practical test and interviews will be conducted should you pass this stage.

    Visit http://website for directions. Please inform Reception in Room 107 upon arrival located on the first floor and ask for Christopher Burges.

    Now i have been to this site and checked vacancys and there isnt any?? Not unless i want to be a lecturer! its for a computer uni in london.

    Is this gonna be a scam to get me there then try and get me on some silly course i dont need to do????

    I'm going to be a bit negative and expect a scam of some kind.

    In the current economic climate, employers are spending all their time trying to shed employees, then sift through the thousands of applicants for new ones. Pro-active recruitment just isn't happening, except at the very highest levels.

    All I've ever had from Reed is spam and s***e.

    Ill ring him tomorrow! id be pissed if i got there and found out thats what it was, someone could end up with a keyboard to the face! lol

    Turns out it was a job i actually applied for! best turn up to that one if i wanna get employed!
