Hey Guys

Bit late with this, but let's all remember it's Red Nose Day again - in conjunction with Comic Relief, the best fund-raiser in the UK .

So if you haven't already, please think of others, do without a couple of quid, and pop along to the Offical RND'05 website and make a pledge to help others.

As an incentive, if you Guys can put together at least £50 as a result of this post, I WILL PROMISE NOT TO POST AT ALL FOR A WHOLE WEEK*. I'll give you 72 hours to reach this target.

If you post on here how much you've pledged, I'll take you at your word, and if you reach the amount by Monday night, then you can ritually slaughter me (within this Thread), safe in the knowledge that you won't hear a cheep from me. So come on - what more do I need to do to get a few quid from you all ???

hmm well gym rowed 125'000 meters (part of a joint civil service gym efford for 1'000'000 meters) I managed 12 thousand myself, in a little over 7 days, giving me 10% of the distance, so 10% of the money raised to the power of Pi over 4

This has just got to be one of the most tragic things to happen to me. I can feel my big chance to be a hero and donate £25 and shut the armadillo up just slipping away. I just went to the site and saw that I can only pay by credit card.I went to book my A+ exam yesterday and have to pay up front (as you do) and realised my credit card expired.

I'm now just and waiting for the new one to come from Oz.

 

Tell you what, Nugg - if by close of play tomorrow night, the required total hasn't been reached, then I'll take you at your honorable word, and accept that you'll donate the balance when the new card arrives.

At that point the shelled wonder will be silenced, and you surely will long be remembered as the 'dillo-silencing Deity in CertForums Folklore.

However, having had experience of the Oz mail system ( ? ), I have my doubts as to whether the card will appear before next year's Comic Relief, so the rest of you better get giving before 10pm on Monday night....
