Happy Days in sunny Scotland - been helping customer get remote access to their systems all day. Really need a beer now...

 

Great game, but seriously, thoughts are with all of Scottish friends. I'd never heard of a red warning before until I heard it on the news today, I hope it passes quickly and without incident. I was driving to Bradford to see a customer and had to abandon my trip it as it got so bad

 

There's not a lot of snow here, just a sprinkling really, but it is bloody cold. From Sunday to Tuesday, we've had no gas due to a water main breaking and the water getting into the gas main. They cut everyone off and still today trying to get the water out of the gas pipes. Ours is back on so the heating is on, but suffering from low gas pressure and the fire keeps going off. Time to put another jumper on and 2 pairs of socks.

 

Motorways all quiet today from what I have been told – I have an emergency engineer using a 4x4 but looks like almost all customers are working from home or have given their staff the day off.

 

Third day at home but flying through the work which is great.

Hope everyone is at home with a hot drink of their choice.
