    Saw Ready Player One - it's an awesome film (imo)... If you have played any games from the 70's onwards to the present day, you will see references to them :)

    I saw RP1 at the cinema, it's a good movie but the book is much better, don't get me wrong they did a really good adaptation of it based on the movie length but they changed parts of the book that would have been better in the movie.

    Cheers for the advice guys. A friend of mine read the RP1 book and raved about it. I'll go see it one night next week. Was going to go this weekend but you know how it is. Life stuff

    Yeah I get it, I was trying to watch RP1 when I was in the UK on holiday and just never got the time, instead I just waited till I was out here in San Diego and watched it then, actually thinking about catching Rampage today.

    It's always busy when I come out here, more hours done here than in the UK (and I average 10+ hours a day in the UK :()

    I love coming out here tho, really nice area to be :)

    I’m really looking forward to Ready Player One.
    Missed it in the cinema as I was poorly, but got it ordered on disk.
    Read the book about six times, and hope it won’t be one of these book-to-film disappointments.

    I might read the book on holiday because I've heard many people say it's great.

    Btw I thought a quiet place was pretty naff... And I love horrors

    If you grew up in the 80s and were into films, music and computer games, there is no finer book.
    I think that’s the problem though, all those people are now grown up - or at least some are...

    The book was far FAR better than the film, much more enjoyable.
