i've made a particular security group part of local admins group and enabled RDP access on this W2k3 server.

do all local admins have RDP access (if it's enabled) by default or do I need to explicitly add this group into the list of users/groups that should have RDP to that server?

    Cheers.

guess you probably figured this out by now but if you havent then the answer is yes, any user or group who is a member of the local admin group will be able to rdp to said machine as long as remote desktop is enabled. I would suggest that unless the users need to be local admins you should just add the group to the remote desktop users local group so that they dont have any extra permissions that come with the local admin group.

    Cheers
