Has anyone tried out the Channel 4 On Demand service at all?

I know its not available for the Mac but I was wondering, does it work for Windows on a Mac?

I ask as one of my sisters was trying it out on her MacBook and it threw up the DRM issue. When I do it on my laptop it doesnt come up with the DRM issue and allows me to continue to the next step (registering to the site that is).

So please if anyone has tried to use 4oD (4 On Demand) using Windows (XP or Vista) on a Mac please let me know if u had the same DRM issue and if so how did you overcome it? unless of course it cant be done since its Windows on a Mac?

    Thank you all :biggrin

Thank you Mitzs. I was on that site earlier but didnt read the whole thing. But thank you for highlighting that bit out for me. I guess that means no matter what my sister does she just wont get to watch anything that has DRM on on her Mac...even if Windows is installed on it.

And of course even M$ cant support her since she uses Windows on her Mac. Poor girl. Should have bought a normal laptop :biggrin lol...

Not until MS does the same thing to you they did to their users on MSN's music store. They shut that down and are shutting down the drm servers so when the computer dies, or OS has to be reinstalled, on the computer the music is now on the music goes away for forever.

You will always have issues with DRM because DRM itself has issues. It's a major ripoff of the consumer.
