Hmm.....himem.sys should be in your c:\windows\system directory, ...if it is corrupted then i would copy himem.sys from the 95,98 boot disk. or you could take a floppy with you and copy the file from your friends pc win directory c:\windows\system\himem.sys


I believe the c:\windows\system32 is for win xp and above.


I believe config.sys basically loads the himem.sys file.

I would go with c)....but i thought it was c:\windows\system.
