I decided on the Seasonic M12 700W PSU have ordered this along with Asus Rampage formula X48 mobo, Intel E8400 3.0GHz CPU, 2 x 2GB Geil RAM, 250GB samsung spinpoint HDD, LiteON 20x SATA DVD rewriter, Artic sliver 5 thermal compound & Artic silver Arti clean and Antec 1200 gaming case all from Novatech.

I usually buy my stuff from overclockers but Novatech was cheaper.

I bought a Tuniq Tower 120 from Yo Yo Tech as no other suppliers seem to be stocking this very popular HSF (if you are planning on getting it Yo Yo tech have 5 left).

I am expecting delivery & to build it on Saturday :)

Forgot to add that I went for the BFG GTX 260 maxcore edition it seems to run a bit better than a standard gtx280 and is about £90 cheaper.

Nice piece of kit. When I stop paying for the new car I'll be sure to invest in a better PC.

For the time being it's laptop time. :(

What are you planning to play on the 'behemoth' then?

Nope, I have a couple and they're awesome. Fast, reliable, good value for money.

Each to their own I suppose.

I've heard nothing but good things about the spinpoint and I'm running a 500gb one in my home PC at the moment.

My next PC (the fictional creation I never have the money to buy) includes the 1TB SpinPoint F1 as well.

ah yes, but part of the problem is its not actually that long since I built the one I have at the moment..... kind of...

I've run out of upgrade options now except for more RAM (already got 2gb, seriously considering going to 4gb).

Then its dream pc time. If I won the lottery I already know what I'd buy http://www.armari.co.uk/xcp-gallery.asp
