    Hi all,

I have a laptop that is giving the error "PSAPI.DLL missing or corrupt" on startup. The laptop is running window ME :(

I started by disabling certain startup files using msconfig and I've so far narrowed it down to a called iedll.exe in the windows directory.

Does anyone know what this file is and what its used for? If I disable it then the error does not appear??

Si take a look at http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/darnit_2.htm and search the page for iedll, it appears to be spyware. Zap the sucker and don't worry about it :)
