    Yep, PowerTab rocks. ProTools too.

As for other software, one day I can't live without it, the next day I've forgotten it's even there :dry

I thought I couldn't live without Nero for the wave editor it came with for converting WMA files to MP3, until it then refused to work and told me I had to buy the full version, despite getting the full version of Nero 5.5

Anyone know where I can download a good MP3 convertor?

Couple of additions to my previous post way back when...

    1. Another vote for Media Player 11 - I like it alot. I also paid for the DVD/MP3 XPack which allows for DVD decoding and MP3 encoding as I only had options for WMA at first.

    2. ISO Recorder (http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm) - Just literally come across this in the last half hour but is probably well known. Gives the option to burn ISO images when the *.iso is right-clicked.

I quite hug the use of NCH's Switch software

I came across this at work when we had some unplayable dictations; this was the only software that allowed me to work with them.

Also VLC Media Player is a great, and more importantly, free bit of kit - it hasn't fallen out with any of my DVD or audio collection yet.

One of the handiest programs I have come across is Synergy. It's great when you have multiple computers on your desk, it allows you to control them all from a single keyboard and mouse if you have them connected to a network.

Id have to say one of my most useful programs i use on my laptop is Any DVD. Means i can watch my non standard dvd's without having to worry about there region :) [Firefly on dvd but region 7 i think it is].

To go alongside that i have media player 11 with a nice HDTV codec pack, means i can watch hdtv quality video on my pc :)

Other programs include - MCafee security centre (to stop all those hacking scumbags :dry ), Spyare doctor and Adaware to stop those dam irritating pop up/under windows.

A new one ive found is power dvd, very good for backing up my software ( useually for when i rebuild my machine and find my disc has been shattered or scratched to oblivion)

Thats about all i can think of at the moment.
