Well didn't get the job unfortunately.

The candidate they interviewed on Monday had specialist knowledge of the Mailbrain softwrae they use so they offered it to him (otherwise it would have been me).

Good news is that I have another interview this afternoon with a local IT company as a Service Delivery Manager (looks like that ITIL Foundation might be useful after all!)

Fingers crossed again !

Unlucky on the first role, sounds like you did all you could and thats all you need to do, its just luck a lot of the time (in who is your opposition), good luck for next interview.

 

C'mon then DS, spill the beans - how'd it go yesterday?

 

Went ok but they deal with larger enterprises than I ever did.

They will take about 10 days doing first round interview and I'll hear after that if I make it to the second round.

I think I'm an outside candidate so not too hopeful but you never know !

Not surprised really, it did seem a bit of a larger role than I'm used to.
