How to keep users from losing their passwords?

Shoot the first user to lose one, and the rest will make sure they never forget theirs.... :biggrin

How about a strong (numbers and text) that has to be renewed every thirty days. After 30 days it can only be unlocked my admin?

    We use IT contacts.

They are trusted staff members, if someone needs a password reset they let the contact know and if it comes from them we reset it, if not tell them to go to the contact.

    Two security questions:

What is the name of your favourite drink?
What is the name of your favourite bar?

I used to do the IT support for Guinness and yes...... ......I did get free booze! (occasionally!) :biggrin

That's cool. We get a fridge filled with booze to share out three times a week. The odd thing is that I work for a share registry, not a brewery :unsure.

We used to a have complex password policy where I used to work. The passwords had to contain lower and uppercase letters, a number and speical character......

This was a fav with us.... 5h!Tf0rBr@iNs

This worked well then we noticed that the users were writing passwords down on the desks so they didnt forget them.
