Used the Lammle book and Boson practice exams.

Man.. That was rough. Scored 905/1000, but the time constraints are really tight. Rushed through the sims. The fact that you can't go back and review answers gives an added edge to the exam. All in all a better experience than Microsoft exams though. Felt the exam was fair and didn't stray from the exam topics.

Now to get Sec+ and renew my CompTIA certs before CCNA cyber Ops starts in April. Gunna be an.. interesting few months

Also, if anyone is going for this.. Use the Boson exams. The sims on there are absolutely invaluable.

Congrats thats a beast of a score. I had heard the Boson Cisco exams were good so its nice to hear you've done so well. Sec+ is a great cert to get, I enjoyed that probably one of the most of all my certs

Thanks, and very difficult to say, it was so long ago since I did the N+. There's definitely lots of knowledge the CCENT expects you to know though, so I definitely think it's worthwhile doing the N+. They'll probably make the new version a bit easier too seeing as the 006 was apparently so hard.

Thanks! And yeah I'm actually really looking forward to getting stuck into the security side of things. :)

Nice one mate. No, not yet, got a couple of boxes to tick off yet. I'll be doing that after I finish Cyber Ops

I was always told that the Lammle book was the right approach and Boson always had a really great NetSim product, glad you passed :)
