Passed ICND 1 this afternoon - really chuffed. Found some questions to be relatively easy but others to be quite challenging. Just ICND 2 to go....

Used CareerAcademy.com CBT's, Richard Deal CCNA Study Guide, a mixture of MeasureUp and Boson practice exams and on the job experience. Also used the following site for revising subnetting:

    http://www.subnetting-secrets.com/easy_way_to_subnet.html

Found the method described on here to be of great help - well worth £17 (approx).

You basically use a grid and tick down how many bits you need to borrow. You can use it for working out the broadcast address, number of hosts, firsts and last hosts etc. It really makes it a lot easier than several other methods I have read/watched.
