passed both exams on wed yehaa

    :D hi all. i took and passed os and hardware on wed. 779 on hardware and 712 os.it was worth the effort what a great feeling.i used the mike meyers all in one guide nothing else just hands on building my own pc`s.just started reading mikes network+ book.i hope to be ready for network+ late december. :D

    How long did it take you form starting the book to taking the exam?
    I'm in a similar situation to you, experience of fiddling and upgrading and building for friends, going through the book and learning all the bit's I missed from 'just getting it working' instead of knowing why something fixes a problem.

    took me a couple of months m8.i read the whole book.then re-read 2nd time reading only the exam specific sections.then took half of the tests on the cdrom.then re-studied my weak areas.took rest of the tests on the discs was getting mid 90`s.you get to know when youre ready

    Well done acepal on your A+ cert :super , you have enlightined me to do the A+ exam as well, but before i do that i need to get through the N+ exam so maybe we could like work together sharing information.
