Yep, as the title suggests (or plainly states), I passed the 294.

39 questions, 5 of which were sims, and a score of 890. 180 minutes, so there's no hope of running out of time.

For study resources I used the Syngress book, as they (Syn) are my favs, but unfortunately the book is a bit outdated, as back then there was no such thing as gpmc.msc.
But well I installed it and got used to it. I guess I might go with something more updated for the 297.
Then I used Transcenders, and of course I don't need to tell you how they were.
And of course a bit of technet and whatnot.

All in all a very easy exam. Very much on group policy. I'd rate it as the easiest I've done so far, which is likely because of the fact that, well, I've been using AD ever since 290 so I've gotten very comfortable with it in the meantime.

Anyway I'm somewhat pleased with myself, and intend to finish the 297, and thereby the MCSE, in mid-September.

And so you should be pleased with yourself. I enjoyed the Active Directory exam too, it was one of the easier exams as I remember, for once everything made sense to me. However, the design AD exam is a different kettle of fish and requires a different approach. Though you should sit it as soon as possible now as the basic concepts are the same.
