Let's stick to things like law and justice, gang. When I say "no favoritism", I mean it both ways. She should get what she deserves under the law, just like any other person...no more, no less.

Funny thing is, I've had a lot of people say to me that I should stand as an independent in local elections. I have extensive experience in Industrial Relations and would peg myself as a Socialist if pushed. However, there is no 'socialist' party in this country any more (it died along with the unfortunate John Smith) and my views are pretty random. For instance, I'm against Capital Punishment, yet for 'life means life' for certain crimes.

My views are changing as I get older - and five years representing people on various Trade Union committees, culminating in chairing a workplace of 2000 members of varying backgrounds taught me something: Most people will take the piss given the opportunity - representing them in negotiations is a waste of time when they won't help themselves.

I will never vote for the Labour party again as long as I live.

That said, Paris Hilton is scum and deserves a far greater Karmic punishment than 45 days being groped by someone called 'Large Marge' in a 9x6 cell...

I get very angry when there are constant calls for 'equality' and 'equal treatment' which then never get acted upon.

The repeat offender who gets let off because prison isn't teaching him anything and it would be unfair on his 16 kids if he went back to prison.

The equal rights for minorities, but hello, we have to take our motorcycle helmets off to go into a bank yet they can wear a veil.

Black bin bags are racist, but we happily drive over the white lines on the road.

I'm not a racist - I was brought up in a multicultural society, but I do believe that 'equality' should mean 'equality'.

I'm all for equal rights for women, but I've never seen a female dustman (person). I did however see a woman laying out cones on the A48M in Cardiff last week, and I thought 'fair play to her'. I thought it was brilliant.

Celebrities should have a lower social status than the rest of us. They get paid to go to a certain shop or event - we pay to go. Celebs should be the servants of the majority, in the same way that (in theory) politicians are the tools of the people.
