1- i said i downloaded phptriad and additionally phpnuke 8 before.

phptriad contains apache , mysql(in apache) and php (this has php.ini and recommended files)

phpnuke 8 includes html folder BUT this "doesn't have"
    php.ini and recommended files)

without phpnuke 8 , couldn't i display php pages on the browser?

    2-so why do i use phpnuke ?

I've answered this before - if you just want PHP then you don't want PHPNuke.

If you want to run a slash-dot type system then PHPNuke is one possibility.

Koben. I suggest you uninstall what you have done and then Install PHP, MYSql, and a server, SEPARATELY. This may give you some understanding of the components basic functionality.

i fed up with will not be telling the problem to you for two days men!

explaining from the beginning : phptriad has apache , php and mysql
without phpnuke i will be able to run apache and display html and php files . And according to
the writings i read in internet , phpnuke is a content management system.

and without phpnuke , by saving php files into c:\apache\htdocs i can display php files

so , if i also wish using phpnuke , what will this be used for?

I have absolutely no idea with PHP - I'm not a scripting guru - but FFS! is it not possible to use google, some common sense, reading other peoples posts????? I understand what phpnuke is now and I don't care! It .....

why ? because php in phptriad is enough to run php files but phpnuke offers specific folders for specific
    things

for instance ; for aaa.jpg it has "images" folder

for bbb topic it has "modules" folder

SO CAN'T WE USE PHPNUKE ONLY ?

I THINK WE CAN USE IT(PHPNUKE) WITH PHP AND PROVIDE FOR EASY MANAGEMENT OF PHP FILES

"editors put some articles and users subscribed there will comment on this article" eeeeee

BUT I CAN SEE THIS TYPE OF SITE EVERYWHERE on the net (for example gamesites such as www.gamespot.com)

so without phpnuke i mean only php , shouldn't i do sites like this?

If you read the first post in this thread, Kobem explains what phptriad does, and asks what phpnuke does, - in post 16 Kobem explains what phpnuke does and asks what phptriad does.

Maybe if the two of you got together you could wrap this up....

I don't quite understand what you mean, but I think it is because English is not you first language. I think that the question you are asking is:

"so without phpnuke, would I still be able to make a site like this?"

If this is the question you are asking then the answer is.... I have NO IDEA. you probably COULD still make this type of site using other tools, but the whole point of this tool seems to be to make it easier, because all the tools you need are integrated into one place.
