    Hmm Amsterdam remember it well.
OK i was either stoned, drunk or a mixture of both.:ohmy
Never had hash cakes before or since!!
Walking down the local red light district was a real eye opener.
But the shops selling adult reading material was an even bigger suprise, anything & everything catered for!!!!
I think they have tamed Amsterdam a bit since going their a few times in the 80's & 90's.

And customs seemed to have lost their sense of humour when we returned to the UK!!
One friend nearly got the old rubber glove treatment up the........you can guess what...:eek::eek:

Mavs are about a 12-hour drive from here... I could be convinced to see the Grizz, about 3 1/2 hours away...

Customs and excise officers have never possessed a sense of humour. Being a miserable bar steward is a prerequiste of the job.

Didn't realize Dallas was that far away - time to brush up on the geography. We'll have to see about the Grizz, not a team that excites me. Well, I guess it's just the hockey then. Preds vs the Leafs, a classic rivalry.

Well, the Grizz could be playing the Mavs that night... :D

re Preds vs. Leafs: Too bad the West plays the East as little as they do... I've only gotten to see the Leafs play once.

WEEEE I'm back!!! and glad about it too!

Its been an ok week. The training went well, and so did most of the updates. However apologies to anyone looking for subtitles on page 450 poland or natgeo scandinavia. Seems they were missing when we were there, not our fault though!! We almost got away with an early finish friday if it hadn't of been for the problem (we had to look at it before we left) That meant a 5 hour wait at the airport, then the plane was delayed for another hour as well.

Had a couple of nice meals in Leibsestraat (think thats the spelling). Its a big area in Amsterdam full of restaurnts and steak houses. The guy i was with took us to a little family cafe on 2nd night, and that was interesting as they remebered him from 3 months ago.
Also did the obligatory walk round the red light area. Cant say i was either shocked or impressed. Bit let down really.

Apart from that i didnt get to see much more, too busy drinking eating and working!

Still im back and can spend more time hauting you all!!!!
