Well as from Monday i shall be away from these forums for about a 5 days. I'm going to Amsterdam for that time due to work. Worst of all is that as the other engineer i'm going with will have a laptop it was deemed that i wouldn't need one. SO i shall be with out any net access for the week. No eamils, no ebay and no cert forums... HOW WILL I COPE???????

Tinus, if you read this, can ya recommend any palces to eat cloe to the RAI center? Going to be staying alonr VOORBURGSTRAAT if you now the area.

Also been told to keep my expenses down as we only charging for the others engineers cost as i'm going along for training. So no top restaurants or long drinking seesions.. god i'm gonna be bored!!!

One of the others in the office suggestd a visit to the red light district, but i cant put that down on expenses as "Light Entertainment" if i'm not getting expenses!

Least i can make the other guy pay for the drinks and run up his tab!

GBL was that steak from an argentinian restaurant? when i last went there thats what we had. Was great steak but the service was lousy.

 

I can't remember I was quite cained but if you come out of central station and go left its there, looks like a big conservetory added onto the restaurant.

 

its not expensive anyhow, you can get a room in the red light district for £13 a night, decent steak and all the trimmings for £15 including beer, and you can by space cakes for £8.50

 

I ate one of those and i havent come down yet

 

Takes a while to get used to them especially if you get a mushroom mix

I'm considered wierd enough without having a cake to make me worse! The only drug i need is booze and i'll get plenty of that while away. Gonna need it to substitute for the internet i'll miss.
