I would like to know how many questions are there in total for the A+ exam? Both Hardware and Software. And can anyone recommend any good cramming books I can read? Thanks guys.

You might want to consider Mike Meyers A+ Passport if for no other reason as it is probably a companion to the big Meyers tome. I'd also suggest The A+ Exam Cram2 but Amazon in the UK seems to have married it to the Scott Mueller text (which isn't bad but it isn't fast, either).

To Quote the CompTIA FAQ for the A+:

You can also go to CompTIA's FAQ site for the A+ cert to find out. You might want to spend some time there since I think they have the answers to many of your questions.
