I should have called this the Dogecoin thread. Out of interest, I've followed the price of Doge since I bought them for this promotion just over a month ago. They have basically doubled in price in one month! Imagine if you'd of put a good few quid into these :S I'm actually worried I'll end up like the 10k pizza guy now ha ha (kidding it's all good)

 

Yeah its beserk isn't it. I saw a news article saying traditional financial institutions are really worried about it because people are sending each other money for these bitcoins, it's going out of their sphere of influence.

 

Not sure they can mate, although as you say if it starts putting banks at risk, they might have to, but flip knows how you'd go about it. It's a crazy business, it could inflate the price to crazy levels or make it sink like a stone, either way if you've got guts, there could be a fortune to be made or lost right now

 

GREAT question. Honestly, I'd sell 9 and keep 1. You'd make 90,000 dollars and still be in it should they go beserk, like 100k each. I think once the last is mined they could explode to crazy heights. I'd imagine mining hardware that wasn't viable any longer just become viable in light of the current prices. I remember back in the day I almost sold a butterfly labs 30GHs miner for 2 bitcoin. The fella pulled out and I sold it for £800 I think but that would of netted me $20k :S Again we should definitely start an opportunities missed thread! I've got countless examples it feels

I am very fond of charity and giving back so hopefully some good karma in the bank for me. It would take some effort to beat you now I think. More importantly the winner will go down in the CF history books as the 1st reward winner! Something crytocurrency can't buy

 

To be fair it's you and Juelz in the running, you remind me of SimonD and I last year where for months it was one of us getting top poster. If anyone has his details, give him a nudge
