So, anyone getting an xbox series x or a PS5?

Im getting the series x but will keep an eye on the PS because of the VR aspect, there are rumours they are doing something with the PSVR, which will be decent, if anyone hasnt tried the original PSVR, then you should do, its really good, the only downside for me was the lead, which is why I opted for a quest.

Constanly scanning for a release date for PS5. Also had confirmation from the Wife that we can upgrade the PS4 TV to a new Samsung so really excited now.

Cant wait for Horizon, and the fact that its backwards compatible is great!

Is there anything in particular that you are looking out for on Series X?

To be honest, I ma just looking forward to something faster. Be good to see PUBG load up really quick. I have recently started getting back into it as opposed to Warzone, which has become annoying due to the hackers

Nah too fortnite, cant stand that game. PUBG is what all the cool kids are playing

Can PUBG be downloaded/played for free?

 

I bought it and its free on game pass
I hear its free for PS4 users now as well and there is cross play. It will take a bit of getting used too at first but when you get into it either solo, duo or squad then you become addicted.

So I went and had a look at PUBG and it looks similar to Fortnite, even the game modes are the same... if anything it's like Fortnite with less features, so I can only assume the dislike of Fortnite is due to its cosmetics?

 

Well, yeah, its battle royale but its a bit more realistic, i mean you cant jump in the air and build a quick defensive shed. Its great since they have updated it, im getting more kills, just come off the back of a squad win so now I am quite addicted to it

So, is anyone ready to shell out for either the PS5 or Xbox series x then?

I am thinking of getting the Series x but might just wait, for some reason I only seem to be playing PUBG, which technically should run like a dream compared to how it runs now, however, mine does render faster as I have it on an external SSD

Yup, Ive got the PS5 coming on release. Cant wait. Even booked the 19th / 20th of November off work.
I have the new Horizon on pre-order and also CyberPunk. Im hoping both are available on release day too.
