Hello Mates!

I've just joined this forum, so let me say hello to every1.

My question is about the error message I get when I tried to install a demo version of Preplogic CCNA 640-802 practice exam. it reads thus :"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" Runtime Error! then the installation file path is specified followed by this message: "abnormal program termination"

Does any one knows why this is happening? I am trying to try the program out before deciding to buy the full version but am not having any joy in trying to install it! My computer is a windows XP Pro SP2 and I have install the .Net framework 1.1 which was one of the requirements so I don't know what is the problem

I have no such problem when I installed the trial version of Transcender Cert!
Any help!

Welcome, not too sure about your error but a google search came up with this.

 

Are you running on Vista ? A lot of the exam providers have had to patch their products for Vista. If you contact support they will supply the fix, not sure if they do this for Evals/Betas.

Otherwise maybe try another vendor !

It sounds like you have a conflict somewhere, try contacting the support department and see what they say.

I think that Mark-K has the right answer for the error.

You may want to look in the logs to see if there is any more detailed info about the error, but a version problem seems the most likely.
