    Hey guys,

just thought i'd do the old first post thing.

Names Nick, currently self-studying CCNA and planning to do CCDA, NCP and possible MCSE after that.

    That's all really.

    Nick.

Welcome, Nick! That's all? You should be done by lunch on Friday.
:biggrin Just kidding. That's actually quite a lot. In your self study, have you been able to set up a small test lab. It's much easier to pass the CCNA when you can actually lay your hands on a router and three or four switches.

Please feel free to roam the place, make use of the facilities and ask any questions that come to mind. Glad you're aboard.

it's not bad, it's determination really. had to read a booket i had on IP addressing aswell as the chapter 3 times but now i am just about to start chapter 5: intro to router config.

    my lab consists of:

3 x 2503 routers (soon to have 16mb dram upgrades when i can afford the £50 to do it)
    1 x WS-C1924F-EN Switch (hopefully within a week)
1 x HP 24 Port 10/100 Procurve Hub (to be ebayed - bought thinking it was a switch :blink )

Welcome to Certforums. It's a shame about the motherboard but in the scheme of things, given the number of exams you're going to be taking, a weeks delay is a drop in the ocean. You'll soon be longing for a week off :)
