Hi - Final week working for a UK clearing bank as a Corporate Banking Manager before embarking on a new career in IT support. Introduction will be a 4 week fast track course at Cerco Training, hopefully leading onto entry-level job in either desk-top support or field engineering.
Does Cerco represent value for money given it's lack of externally accredited certificates?
Feedback from anyone else who has taken the plunge and changed career would be great.

Hi and welcome to CF, Yorkshirelad. I don't have any experience of Cerco, but neither have I heard any bad reports of them. There's mention of them elsewhere around here someplace - do a search and you'll find it (if you haven't already)

Good luck with your new path Yorkshirelad - sure some of the others will be along shortly to share their experiences and advise you.

 

I got the impression that Cerco was a reputable company when I was looking into training.

I liked the fact that they only ask for half of your money before you start and half when you have a job you like - too many places seem to expect you to give over huge ammounts of money before you get anything or have a chance to evaluate the training.

I couldnt do Cerco because I dont drive
