Is GONE and no longer an issue.

First time pass, quite a hard exam in all honesty, went into quite a lot of detail about certain Hardware that wasn't covered in my training material.

    Used the following:
    • Mike Meyers Video Course (Udemy),
    • Meyers Book,
    • Messer,
    • CBT Nuggets,
    • Transcender Pratice,
    • Gibson App on iOS.

Thanks so much to everyone here. REALLY REALLY appreciate all the help, support and encouragement. I will be signing up, just need to get this wedding paid off :)

    Cheers,

    Ron

Thanks mate, glad that ones over ha ha.
Few weeks of "Me" time (playing No Man Sky and trying to do more exercise) then make a start on the CCNET 100-105.

Gratz on the pass, you really worked for it!

Have you decided the network side of IT is for you?

    Thanks @Dazzo

In all honesty, I'm not 100% sure. I think I would like to move into the CCNP (I think it is), but I would also like to do the Linux+. Maybe move towards Security? I will still do the CCNA R&S and then decide from there.

My Partner has always said that she wants to go home (New Zealand) at some point so I am just keeping an eye on the IT market there and seeing how things progress.

Don't worry about it too much, you will find that things can change drastically when opportunities arise!

New Zealand sounds good, from a quick search it looks like it's generally broad in terms of what's on offer but networking comes up often in postings. You could be on the right track with getting the CCNA and then maybe getting your foot in the door and deciding what to pick up next afterwards.

Although I have always wanted to do the Linux+ myself!

I have already spoken to a few of our Network guys and they are aware its something I want to move into. I am keeping an eye on the possible roles :)

Looking forward to the Linux+ in all honesty, I can see it taking over as my main OS!

I would love to move to Linux full time but as an avid gamer I just can't do it :(

Actually depending on the flavour I really like it, I am partial to Ubuntu and CentOS 7, Ubuntu for desktop, CentOS 7 for the server side of things.
