    Hi

Could anyone give me some advice please? Would it be wiser to do this exam before tackling the 70-216 considering I have no networking experience whatsoever?

    Thanks

    Paul

Well, I haven't sat the 216, but from listening to those who have, the answer would be 100% YES !!!

Network+ is a good exam giving a general grasp of the fundamentals of networking, like a first step to 216.

Only IMHO as always, but my 2 pesetas all the same :D

I have to agree and also say yes.

I had completed a Network+ course before starting on the MCPs and found it to very beneficial. The Network+ does offer a good foundation and will help with your studies for most MCPs, just that the 216 will be more so.
