Ah I take back my previous statement! The A+ was fine, it was the Network+ book from the same series that i found not too helpful, I have flicked through the A+ and i appologise for any negative comments! basically transfer all thoughs i mentioned in my earlier post to the Net+!

 

Must be really exciting to see people buying a physical hard copy of it

Especially when floppy drive might be the last bit of hardware that uses the old style tape connectors in today's world.

Thanks, everyone. You had me worried for a moment, birdcr. The first edition of the book was based directly on real world tasks I performed while working for an IT department. Glad that got sorted out (though I feel bad for Network+ Street Smarts author Toby Skandier).

No third edition until CompTIA updates their A+ exam again, Phoenix. The release of my new book is supposed to coincide with the new A+, so ideally it'll be in the right place (bookstore shelves, Amazon.com) at the right time).
