My first IT job

    Yesterday I started my training as a comuter technician if everything goes OK from Monday I will have full time, pernament position.

    Only Joking??????????!!!!!!!!!!!! where do you work, can I have a job there please :)

    Only yesterday a user rang up panicking because the printer was nearly full and they didn't want to lose their prints, the status screen said "Storage Remaining 98%" I just sat there banging my head on the desk and wishing I had a cattle prod like BOFH

    well my job is a little bit different. I deal with used computers form banks and other big companies. My job is secure the computer, wipe HDD, fix what's broken. I work with everithing starting from Pentium to PIV, machines with one and more proc. Fortunately I don't deal with customers [​IMG]. Just thousends of hardware, RAM's, HDD's, FDD's, cables, cables, and my favorite toy laptops - sepecialy the old one where you can do some wierd stuff and if by chance something goes wrong - well .......... :D

    BTW some of that stuff we sell on eBay


    as for that with my work history I can assure you that it could be only better.
