I do - or rather did... do sometimes.
I'm more of a casual gamer and some people get a bit too 'intense' in multiplayer, so it's got limited appeal for me.

Certainly agree though, I'd buy a PS3 all over again just for MW and MW2 and then go and live in a cave (with electricity, obviously - gotta have that). And a telly.
Looking forward to Black Ops - but wasn't that done by the people who did World at War? It was good, but not a touch on the Infinity Ward MW games. I'll probably wait 'till after Xmas - it's going to be one of those games that isn't going to come down in price until then.

I've just been playing through MGS4 again, and I'd forgotten what a work of genius it was.
The octocammo effect is amazing - and the fact that the cut scenes show you wearing the right equipment/cammo is nothing short of brilliance.
That being said, the game is one big montage of cut scenes, which was its biggest criticism...

    Play on.

I pop in and play a few rounds of MW2 occasionaly. Its appeal to me is the pop in a nd play factor. I can spend and hour or 3 or just 15 mins on a game, then quit for days until i feel i want to play it again. Its a pickup and play type game for me. The single player was a short attention grabbing campaign, but online means i can play as much or as little as i feel. Unlike other games that drag you into a story with over long missions, etc that you always feel, just 5 more mins until i complete this one then i'll quit, and your still playing hours later. I have to be in teh mood to play those sort of games (yes i'm looking at you ME1 and ME2!) Thier all good games but some are more intense and require your attention for longer, others are just adrenalin fule fests for short periods.

Oh and i play MW2 on PC not PS3, while me son plays it on Xbox360, i cant get to grips with those controllers for FPS, i require a keyboard and mouse to be half as bad as i am. With 360 controller i'd be 3 times as crap!

I play modernwarfare, i got into it when call of duty 4 came out, i didnt lke world of ware, but love MW2, and i play it online a fair bit. I used to do free for all, but everybody cheats by boosting, whcih really gets on my tits. The thing is they think they are really great because they are 10th prestige, which when you look at it is not ereally an achievement, it just means you play MW" too much or your sad enough to want to give that impression that you do.

Ive never cheated on it and i dont see the point, which is why im only 4th prestige.

Ive started playing team death matches in hardcore, and they seem pretty good, as no one cheats anyway, every now and then you get some team killing but no way as bad as what they do free for all.

If anyone has an xbox and wants me to pull a nice shot off from distance, then ill be happy to open a can of whoopass. I use three gunes mainly, p90, spas 12, (with grip) and a wa2000 sniper rifle, with silencer. I do try other guns , but im best with these

Anyone who fancies a game against me, pm me your gamertag.

I'm mainly a PC gamer for FPS's as I hate using joypads for them as it just doesn't feel right. Got really cheesed off with not having dedicated servers as I joined one of the match making games and it levelled me up to max as it was a hacked game so had to start all over again and gave up but do dip into it now and again.

One thing I'm massively disappointed with is the new Medal of Honor as the multiplayer is pants as the maps are way too small and it feels like they used all the maps that were rejected for Battlefield BC2 as DICE did the multiplayer part of it. Only paid £18 for it so don't feel too bad.

I used to play MW and WaW on the Xbox360... I still like the MW a lot more than WaW and to be honest I haven't played MW2 much. On another note I would need to get xbox live gold membership to play online and since I don't play many games nowadays I don't see the need to get it. Actually right now I am working my way through Mass Effect than Halo 3 followed by Half Life 2 episode 1 and 2.

Having sold my Xbox 360 Elite to purchase a PS3 Slim to then sell that and buy the new Xbox 360 Slim, I have been playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I must say, that this game is a lot more fun than Modern Warfare 2, for me personally anyway.

I did not enjoy Modern Warfare 2 half as much as it was hyped up to be. World at War has the best online play for me. There are too many fancy tricks in the latest installments which gives the average user, no chance!

I play regularly on a Thusrday night with a bunch of mates, and we are contemplating Black Ops, so we shall see.
